Tire Size
Your car came with the EXACT right size tire on it for the vast majority of your needs. Often when larger, low profile tires or "Plus Sizes"are fitted the results can be expensive to maintain.
Wider tires use more fuel, cost more, are more likely to hydroplane and hunt more while driving straight. Lower profile tires can cause increased chances of bent wheels and sidewall damage due to the New England potholed roads.
On the positive side, when you really think about it, for street driving, the low profile tires offer two advantages. First you have to admit they fill up the wheel wells and make the car look cool 100% of the time. Second they improve turn in response/cornering speed, you can enjoy this about 1% of the time unless you hang out at traffic rotaries or interchange cloverleaf's.
